Musicians

Music director/Flute:

Itai Kriss: One of the best Jazz and dynamic flutist in the New York scene. A selected list of venues Itai has performed in includes The Blue Note, S.O.B.'s, Carnegie Hall, and The Copa Cabana. He also co-produced Bibi's "Jazz Them Up" album.

Music director/Piano:

Art Hirahara: Art is one of the best pianist/keyboardist in the New York Jazz scene. From the traditional to the avant-garde music, Art has a sound of his own that cuts across genres and boundaries. He has performed around the world in Europe, Asia, South America, and the Middle East and extensively around the United States.

Drum:

Dan Aran: Dan established himself as an in demand drummer in the New York Jazz scene. He has performed at most of the major venues in USA, Israel, Europe and the Middle East. In addition to working with artists such as, Harry Whitaker, Junior Mance, Natalie Merchant, Stacey Kent, and many others, Dan has recently released his own album with great review.

Bass:

Edward Perez: Hailed by Jazz Times magazine for his "great dexterity", and cited by critic Thomas Conrad for his musicality, New York bassist and composer Edward Perez is sought by fellow musicians for his creativity and experience in a great diversity of musical styles. Perez has performed in virtually all of New York’s most venerated jazz venues (including the Blue Note, Lincoln Center, Jazz Standard, Iridium, etc.) and he has toured throughout Europe and South America, including appearances in major jazz festivals as well as world music festivals.

Percussion:

Manuel Alejandro Carro: Grew up in Camaguey, Cuba, where he played professionally since his teens. He becomes one of the most in-demand percussionists in New York City. He tours the globe with many luminaries of the Latin and world music scene such as Enrique Lopez's Latin Ensemble, Albita Rodriguez, and the virtuoso guitarist Hernan Romero.

Saxophone:

Nick Hempton: A saxophone giant from Australia. Nick was born in a family of classical musicians, and took up musical instruction at an early age. He found himself drawn to the saxophone and jazz since age 16. In New York, Nick performs regularly at the city's top music venues. He has appeared on many commercially released albums encompassing the full range of popular music styles and has appeared on stages throughout the world from USA, New Zealand, The Pacific Islands, South East Asia, China, Japan, to South America, Mexico, Canada, Switzerland, Israel, England and France.

Trumpet:

Jonathan Powell: Recently voted "Best Latin Jazz Trumpet Player" (Latin Jazz Corner),young trumpeter Jonathan has earned him respect in diverse musical communities. Jazz guru Nat Hentoff first wrote of Jonathan's playing "Powell's crackling range and the electricity of his imagination reminded me of the first time I heard Lee Morgan and Clifford Brown. His voice is his own..." -JazzTimes (April 2003).

Guitar:

Juancho Herrera : Juancho is an essential part and a great guitarist in the New York Jazz scene. Hailing from Colombia and Venezuela, he is one of the most interesting performers of today’s New York music scene. He has had the opportunity to perform in 28 countries, at some of the most important venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York, Kennedy Center Washington D.C., Shibuya Koukaido in Tokyo, Centro Cultural La
Estancia in Caracas, and etc.

Following her gold selling album success of "Jazz Them Up", Bianca brings her beautiful vocals and pop jazz styling to The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) – Lyric Theatre, with her solo concert on January 7-8, 2011.


In 2010, Bianca re-visited Cantonese POP classics by the 4-Kings. A major feat to undertake in re-making the classics fused with today’s pop jazz style for a female vocalist. Since end of 2009, Bianca stayed in New York for two months, working alongside thirteen talented Jazz musicians. Together, they made music wonders –
"Jazz Them Up" was born. This album has been revealed as "amazing".


LMC Music, the concert organizer hopes to offer music lovers and fans a treat for their support, 8 of the 13 “Jazz Them Up” New York Jazz Cats will join Bianca for two performances in Hong Kong. The concert is going to present pure music, and hopes to provide audience of an impressionable concert experience in 2011.


Bianca will perform songs from “Jazz Them Up” and from her collections of records, in her own sound mixed of pop, jazz, soul and R&B traditional. With music an art form and self expression to Bianca, this concert has the promise of an intimate and unforgettable experience to the audience.
