WAV 16/44.1

Liu Xing introduced the elements and the concepts of western pop music into Chinese music, thus distinguishing his works with the ethos of New Age music and expanding the possibilities of the instrument. "My Way" is an adventurous album, trying to explore the Eastern serene meditative world with the vehicle of Western experimental techniques.

Since 1985, Liu Xing has been composing on a freelance basis and has written many small-scale, orchestral works and plucked-string ensemble pieces. In 1987, he completed his first zhongruan concerto Reminiscences of Yunnan, it was later made into a record, soon to be followed by other releases such as To Do Nothing and My Way.
